Panama was high on James’ list as a unique place in Central America. He was really interested in learning more about the Panama Canal. The accomplishment of the canal is an incredible engineering feat and we enjoyed seeing it. We spent time touring the entrance on the Pacific side and the middle of the canal. We also learned all about the history of creating such an important connection between the Caribbean and the Pacific.

We spent a week touring Panama City with James’ parents and then made our way north to Boquete to spend a week in the mountains.

Check out our posts below on our two weeks in Panama!
